JV Farms Mushroom Party

On Sunday April 7 join Jay and Valerie at JV Farm in Bismark from 2-4 pm for a Mushroom Log Party. You can drill, seed, wax and tag your own mushroom Log.

Stick around after for a FARM TO TABLE chicken and shiitake stew with corn bread potluck. Choose Oyster or Shiitake.

Take your log home or leave here with your name and we will bring it to you when it starts to fruit. If you are unable to attend but want a log, we will deliver to co-op after the party.

Invitation to e-Day

YOU ARE INVITED!

All Spa City Co-op vendors and members are invited to the Hot Springs and Garland County Beautification Commission’s environmental fair, which we call the e-Day Festival. e-Day will be held on Sunday, May 19th this year, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Farmers’ Market pavilion in downtown Hot Springs.

What could be a better fit at an environmental festival than nutritious locally grown food? Plus, we emphasize education at e-Day, so here is an opportunity for you to share what you do and why it is important.

Every year for the past five years the Hot Springs/Garland County Beautification Commission has put on a family environmental fair called the e-Day Festival. The “e” stands for environment, Earth, energy efficiency, education and excitement. We will have about 50 vendors/exhibitors, children’s activities, entertainment, and food vendors, and expect at least 2,000 people. It’s not only a fun event; it’s also a place new ideas are shared, connections are made, and visitors learn about businesses and organizations in our area that are doing something positive for a sustainable future.

Here is our webpage: www.hotspringsgreen.org/eday.html
You can find us on Facebook, too (remember the hyphen and the word “Festival”): e-Day Festival
