Sausage Cheese Balls

These delicious, bite-sized snacks are a party favorite and they’re easy to make. (Make it even easier on yourself by preparing ahead of time and freezing. On the day of your party, simply thaw and pop in the oven.) The jalapeno cheddar gives them a kick.

Serves: Makes about 5 dozen sausage balls

Ingredients
1 pound JV Farms Whole Hog Sausage
2 cups Bluebird Hill Berry Raw Milk Jalapeño Cheddar
3/4 cup All-Purpose Baking Mix
1/2 finely chopped Jalapeño pepper, seeds removed
1 teaspoon black pepper

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 F. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl; stir well. Form into 1inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven. Cool 5 minutes before removing from pan. Serve with cocktail forks or toothpicks. To bake from frozen, thaw on baking sheet 15 minutes, then back in preheated oven 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
