MeatWorks Butchery and Market is the heart and vision for authentic, wholesome food raised in our community. We are the Farmer, Artisan Butcher Shop, Real Food Market and Local. Our store is the collaboration and vision of two farming families, Youngblood Grassfed Farm and Fourche River Farm and Cattle Co. We raise and graze cattle, sheep, and goats on grass ALONE, no grain, ever. Our cattle genetics include grass-powered bulls and forage-tested mamas. We raise pigs on a variety of natural food sources without confinement. This includes grains, roots, nuts, and most definitely grasses. Our pigs are a heritage breed, therefore they still know how to forage. All animals are raised without hormones or antibiotics. Pastures are intensively managed with no pesticides or herbicides by using a system of mob-grazing. This approach allows us to harvest clean animals, free of contaminants while at the same time improving the soil dramatically, which is healthy for you as well as the environment. We control the entire process from genetics of the herd to cutting YOUR steak or chop. We are the Farmer, Butcher and Local.
